I have currently become a volunteer for Gainesville's Child Advocacy Center. I am also a Public Relations major and am writing a PR plan for the CAC's upcoming events for my PR Writing class. I am looking forward to this project, not only because it will give me experience for my career, but because I am passionate about the subject matter.
While researching, I have found that the organization lacks communication channels.
Such as: Facebook, Twitter, google.trends, etc
My ultimate goal in working for the Center is to
1) increase awareness
2) increase donations
I know that by working with the event coordinator, that my input will be extremely impactful.
